The episode opens with Anupama urging Babu ji to reconsider his stance, sharing that she recently spoke to Baa about their situation. Indra chimes in, suggesting that if they can be together, there’s no reason to stay apart. Bala adds that they are fortunate to have true love and should embrace it rather than shy away. Sagar remarks on how this Janmashtami has brought Anuj and Anupama closer, and now, the same might happen for Baa and Babu ji. Grateful, Anupama lights a diya in front of God, expressing her thanks for setting things right. She prays for the reunion of Baa and Babu ji, while she performs aarti with Anuj and Aadhya by her side.
Meanwhile, Kinjal reassures Baa that Anupama’s intentions are pure. Titu, Toshu, Meenu, and the rest of the family try to persuade Baa, who leaves abruptly. The family members collectively wish for Baa and Babu ji’s reunion. Pakhi mentions that while Baa can visit Babu ji, Meenu and Titu should refrain from going. Toshu agrees, noting that Asha Bhavan is not an option for them.
Later, Anupama expresses her desire to visit Megha, but Aadhya becomes anxious, begging her not to go. Anupama insists on the importance of the visit, and Anuj offers to accompany her as Aadhya’s parents. Meanwhile, Ansh complains to Toshu about being bothered by Pari, Mahi, and Ishu, and questions when Dadu will return. Baa echoes a similar concern, asking when Vanraj will come home. Toshu reassures them that Vanraj could return any moment and declares that Vanraj Shah is back.
The tension escalates when two men, flanked by guards, arrive looking for Vanraj Shah. Toshu stands up to them, refusing to disclose Vanraj’s whereabouts. In a dramatic twist, the men pull out guns, accusing Vanraj of defrauding them under the guise of a project. They claim he has duped many and fled, leaving everyone in shock. As the men throw the family’s belongings out, they issue a stern warning: bring Vanraj to them, or they’ll resort to violence. Baa, undeterred, warns the men to be cautious, boasting that Vanraj is a tiger who could devour them. Kinjal tries to calm Baa down, while the men accuse Vanraj of a massive fraud involving crores of rupees. Pakhi and Toshu recall Vanraj’s words: “My life, my money, my rules,” with Toshu acknowledging that Vanraj indeed has a penchant for fraudulent dealings.

Meanwhile, Anuj and Anupama arrive at Viren and Megha’s house, where Viren pleads with them not to involve the police. Anuj assures him that if they had wanted police involvement, Megha would already be in custody. Anupama explains that she came to connect with another mother. Viren opens up about Megha’s deep guilt over their missing daughter, Priya, and how meeting Aadhya at a child care center made Megha believe she had found Priya again. This belief transformed into obsession, causing Megha to cling to Aadhya, treating her like Priya and isolating her in their home. Anupama acknowledges Megha’s initial motherly love but points out how it turned into a harmful fixation.
Back at the Shah household, Baa frantically urges someone to contact Vanraj, while Titu reveals that his phone is unreachable. Dimpy tries to calm Baa, fearing for her blood pressure. Toshu repeatedly tries to reach Vanraj, growing increasingly concerned.
In the meantime, Anupama approaches Priya’s room and confronts Megha, urging her to step out of the darkness and face the truth. Megha accuses Anupama of snatching Priya away and bringing darkness into her life. Viren worries that Megha might harm herself, but Anuj reassures him that he won’t let anything happen. Megha, emotionally distraught, embraces Anupama, pleading with her to return Priya. Anupama clarifies that while Megha’s pain is understandable, Aadhya is not Priya but her own daughter. Megha remains adamant, refusing to accept Aadhya isn’t Priya, until Anupama firmly reiterates that Aadhya is not her daughter and insists she must face reality.
Worried, Aadhya frets over Anupama’s safety, fearing Megha might lash out. Megha, breaking down, confesses her overwhelming grief, begging Anupama for Priya once more. Anupama gently but firmly reminds Megha that Aadhya is not Priya and she cannot give her up. Megha, desperate and grieving, admits that destiny robbed her of Priya. Anupama proposes they search for Priya together, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and hope. She recalls her own painful experience of losing her son, Samar, and the relentless hope she clung to for years while searching for Aadhya. Anupama stresses that children are not possessions; they have their own desires and happiness. She criticizes Megha for allowing her obsession to overshadow her duties as a mother, urging her to seek her daughter rather than settle for someone else’s child. In a moment of clarity, Megha acknowledges that Aadhya was never truly happy with them, nodding in agreement with Anupama’s assessment.
In the precap, Anupama tenderly brushes Anu’s hair away, reminiscent of past moments, while Toshu asserts his authority as the head of the family, much to the dismay of Kinjal and others. As tensions rise, the question of leadership looms large, with Baa passionately defending Vanraj’s legacy, while Toshu tries to step into his father’s shoes, declaring himself the new head of the Shah family.
